The Texas Nature and Environmental Photographers (TexNEP) organization holds its next meeting on the evening of Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 6:50 pm at South Texas College, HSP Campus Building A 4th Floor room 401.

Photographer Ruth Hoyt, presents a new closeups program for the May TexNEP meeting. She recently traveled to Georgetown, Texas, and presented a program on closeups to the Sun City Camera Club one afternoon and led a workshop with a dozen participants the next morning. The exciting part of the trip was that, for the first time, she took two of her college-aged interns along and had them assist! We are sure you will find the talk interesting from both her perspective as the leader and the interns from theirs as experiencing what goes into a road trip filled with photography. They certainly received stellar reviews from the participants, as well as the president of the club and program coordinator.

An in-person field trip for paid members is planned for the weekend after the meeting.

Date: to be discussed in the meeting,

Place: to be discussed in the meeting.
